Understanding Depression

Depression can show up in many ways—low energy, hopelessness, irritability, trouble concentrating, or feeling disconnected from your life and relationships. It’s more than sadness; it’s a heaviness that can make even simple tasks feel overwhelming. You might find yourself withdrawing, losing interest in things you used to enjoy, or wondering if things will ever get better.

  • “I just feel numb—and I don’t know how to explain it.”

If you’re carrying a quiet weight that others can’t see, you don’t have to carry it alone. Real help is possible.

How I Help

At Mood Recovery Clinic, I offer a thoughtful, collaborative approach to treating depression—rooted in evidence-based therapy, responsible medication management, and an understanding of how mood, biology, and life stressors interact.

Our work together starts by exploring what you’re going through without judgment or rush. I use tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and lifestyle-based care to address the patterns that keep you stuck. If symptoms are severe or persistent, I may also suggest medication to help regulate mood and improve your baseline functioning. Throughout, I’ll check in with you often to make sure the plan we create is working—and evolving—with you.

  • There’s no shame in needing support.

Whether this is your first time seeking help or you’ve tried therapy before, we’ll find a path forward together—at your pace.
