Understanding Anxiety
Anxiety isn’t just nervousness before a big meeting or a tight chest in a crowd. For many adults, it’s a daily battle—racing thoughts, sleepless nights, irritability, difficulty concentrating, or a persistent sense that something is “off.” You may be juggling work responsibilities, caring for others, or simply trying to make it through the day without feeling consumed by worry or self-doubt. When anxiety becomes chronic, it can begin to shape how you see the world—and yourself.
- “I just want to feel like myself again.”
If this thought sounds familiar, know that you’re not alone—and that relief is possible with the right support.
How I Help
At Mood Recovery Clinic, I take a calm, integrative approach to treating anxiety. We begin with a one-on-one conversation to explore what you’re experiencing—no pressure, no judgment. From there, I create a personalized treatment plan that may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of both.
My therapeutic style draws from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns. When appropriate, I may also recommend short- or long-term use of medications to help regulate your nervous system and improve daily functioning. I’ll walk with you through each step—explaining your options, tracking your progress, and adjusting care as your needs evolve.
- Care for both mind and body.
Anxiety affects your whole system—and we’ll treat it that way, with tools to support emotional clarity, focus, and rest.
